Award winning Chef
Jeff Esaw's culinary expertise is indisputable as he is the recipient
of both national and international awards for excellence. Chef Jeff has
appeared with Al Roker on the Food Network's 'Roker
on the Road'.
Al Roker known as the beloved weatherman on NBC's
Today Show also has his own nationally syndicated program on the Food
Network called "Roker on the Road". We are pleased that his fine dining
pallet led him to Norwalk, CT to taste the delicious menus that are
Jeff's Cuisine. In fact, Roker has dubbed Chef Jeff 'King of the BBQ'.

Chef Jeff is regularly engaged in personal appearances presenting
cooking/history tours focusing on southern cuisine and performs
demonstrations for local schools and charities. Chef Jeff is also in
the process of putting together his first cookbook titled "Chef Jeff
Coast to Coast".
2003 saw the opening of a
little bistro in Wilton, CT called Daisy Bell"s named for his beloved
aunt. It was in Aunt Daisy Bell"s kitchen that Chef Jeff first
experienced the taste and flavors of down home southern cuisine
featuring barbeque ribs, fried chicken, smothered pork chops, collard
greens, black-eyed peas, yams, macaroni and cheese, biscuits, red
velvet cake, banana pudding and peach cobbler. He later expanded the
operation and opened Jeff"s Cuisine in South Norwalk, CT where he
continues to enjoy success.
The multitalented Chef Jeff also enjoys a successful catering business that offers clients on or off site barbeque parties, event planning, and music (DJ's & Live bands). Clients include the U.S. Open, Deloitte & Touche, IBM, Grammy Award winnings artists Paul Simon and Keb Mo, Grace Jones, UBS and the Jackie Robinson Foundation among many others.
In his first appearance at the American Royal Barbeque Cook-off in Kansas City, Mo., an invitation-only event that attracts some of the biggest names in BBQ he took ninth place for his brisket and baked beans. That's ninth place out of 500 outstanding peer entries.
In addition to being a perennial nominate on the prestigious Zagat Survey Jeff"s Cuisine bar and
restaurant ranks # 1 on many "best of" lists. Connecticut Magazine
"Best Fried Chicken", Fairfield County Weekly Readers Poll, "Best Cajun
Restaurant", Norwalk Plus "Best Of" all praise Chef Jeff and his
cuisine.
